“Because of my Leukemia, my room is where I stay a lot. But Special Spaces gave me a place where I want to be all the time. I was very excited when I heard they would be doing my room! They asked me about the things I liked, but they gave me things I love. All the volunteers were so nice – they even played with my dog and took care of him during the day. Special Spaces outweighs a lot of the bad from my cancer and makes fighting easier – at least when I’m fighting from my Star Wars ship painting.”
