Special Spaces Florida creates dream bedroom makeovers for dependent children ages 2-19 with cancer who are within one year of treatment. Our goal is to provide them a safe place to recover, heal, sleep and even play. A very special space just to be a kid!
Special Spaces Florida serves the following: South Palm Beach County—the southern part of West Palm Beach going south to Boca Raton, and the northern part of Broward County (Deerfield Beach south to Lighthouse Point).

Through their sponsorship, NDH helped create a dream bedroom for a child in need, offering comfort, inspiration, and a personalized space for healing.

Special Spaces was founded in 2004 with a powerful mission: to create dream bedrooms for brave kids with cancer. Each bedroom is fully customized to reflect the child’s personality, interests, and medical needs—be it their favorite colors, themes, hobbies, or accessibility requirements.
By partnering with local volunteers and generous sponsors like NDH, the organization creates meaningful experiences not only for the child but also for their families. In the Boca Raton chapter and across the country, Special Spaces continues to change lives with each design—one child, one family, and one bedroom at a time.
