As 2012 draws to a close, we have been reflecting on the incredible impact you and other Special Spaces donors have made this year. Thanks to the generosity of countless individuals, children across the nation are enjoying their very own “special space.” The smiles on the children’s faces and the tears in their parents’ eyes when they first see their new room is all because of generous donations.
In 2012, Special Spaces was able to create over 100 dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening illnesses. We also now have 30 Special Spaces volunteer Directors across the United States.
We are very excited about our plans for 2013 as we watch with great pride our organization grow nationally. Our target next year is to increase the number of volunteer Special Spaces Directors by adding an additional 25 in various locations across the U.S. AND… we hope to implement over 200 dream bedrooms next year!
2013 also brings a new project to Special Spaces…
We would like to have a Special Spaces Spencer Bear placed in every room we do in 2013 and we need your support in helping us to achieve this goal.
If you’d like to help us place a bear on the bed of a child facing a life-threatening illness, please consider a contribution. Any donation is greatly appreciated. If this is in addition to contributions you’ve already made to Special Spaces, please know that we truly appreciate your generous support.
Thank you again for your support and all the best to you and yours in the New Year.
